Top Peachy Peach Tips

Tips from the Peach!

Keep your nails looking great longer!

Tip #1 - Always start with clean nails when applying your wraps. Wash and or use an alcohol swap or a nail pad or cotton ball and nail polish remover to ensure there are no oils or lotions that may keep your wraps from adhering well.

Tip #2 - A great time to apply your wraps is right before bed. This will give your peachy new nails time to 'cure' and form a strong bond with your natural nail.

Tip #3 - Use a top coat! This is entirely optional but if you want to extend the life of your new Peachy Peach manicure a top coat is the way to go. Not all top coats are created equal, and some may shrink or cause your wraps to bubble. We've had good results with Sally Hansen Hard-as-Nails & Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coats. Some quick-dry top coats may dry out your natural nails. Do not use QUO brand quick dry top coat. We have received reports that it will cause wraps to shrink and lift.

Tip #4 - You may want to re-touch with a fresh layer of top coat after a week to re-seal the edges and extend the life of your wraps.

Tip #5 - Use a base coat. This is a great idea if you find that your nail wraps don't stick well. You may have oily nail beds.

Tip #6 - Avoid hot water for at least 6 hours to let the wraps adhere and cure. Repeated exposure to hot water especially right after you've applied them, can definitely shorten the life of your beautiful new nails.

Tip #7 - Wear gloves when washing dishes or showering with really hot water.

Tip #8 - Keep in mind that some sunscreens contain ingredients similar to nail polish removers.
